I'm sure you're already familiar by now on the the hazards of the advertising industry.
Much as it is extremely fun and cool, the time that comes with each project is really a killer. I recently finished a 26-hour shoot. Can you imagine?! TWENTY SIX HOURS -- and we only have twenty four the last time I checked!
It's crazy but seeing the output of the project is easily the best part.
But with my hours eaten up just like that, there's nothing much left.
And with you entering grade school in a pretty far place really makes me recalculate everything.
I didn't excel much in school, baby. I'm much more likely caught chatting with a friend than listening. I've never really thought learning in a school setting is my forte.
But to be honest, now that I've found something I love doing - excelling isn't as hard as it sounds anymore. It's only March of 2019, and we've already produced THREE television commercials. (And one story very particular to you and me)
Needless to say, I'm very very happy with what I do.
But you're growing up.
And I don't want to miss out on that.
I love you so much.
This should be a no-brainer.
I'm sorry.
